Young Disciples Immanuel Church to Hold Christmas Eve Church Service in Fort Morgan

Young Disciples Immanuel Church to hold Christmas Eve Church Service on December 24, 2021.

Young Disciples headquarters purchased the former building of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Morgan on December 10th, 2021. The newly established church is holding a Christmas Eve church service on Friday, December 24, 2021.

The fellowship headquarters has named the church Young Disciples Immanuel Church because it hopes that this new house of worship would be a place where all people can come to know the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Immanuel” is the name of Jesus Christ, and it means “God is with us.” Young Disciples’ mission is for all people to come to know God and to make him known in this world. God’s salvation is available for not just a select group of people, but for all people of all nations. The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ does not discriminate.

Young Disciples Immanuel Church will begin the Christmas Eve church worship service at 5 pm on Friday, December 24, 2021. The fellowship welcomes anyone to join them in their worship of God and commemorate the true meaning behind Christmas. The program includes singing praise songs, Christmas hymns, a sermon message, and a meal afterward.

“Christmas is not just a holiday of family gatherings, and the giving and receiving gifts,” said YD President Pastor Edward Shih. “Instead, it is a time where God sent his one and only son into this world to redeem the sinners from eternal condemnation. It is a time to celebrate and give thanks to God for giving us the greatest gift of all – his son Jesus Christ.”

The address of the church is 800 Sherman St, Fort Morgan, CO 80701. For more information, please call 970-236-1314.
