How to Start a Bible Study in Your Dorm Room
You don't need training, a curriculum, or a big group. Here is what actually matters when you start your first study.
Most Bible studies in this movement did not begin with a plan. They began with one person deciding to open Scripture with a few friends and see what happened.
Start smaller than feels significant — two or three people is enough. Pick a single short passage rather than an ambitious reading plan; depth matters more than pace. Ask more questions than you answer. "What does this actually say?" and "What does this mean for us?" will carry an entire evening.
Meet at the same time and place every week if you can. Consistency does more for a new group than any single great discussion. And expect it to feel ordinary — most lasting communities do, for a long time before anyone notices what has grown.
