Perseverance Makes The Dream Come True

Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. Romans 5:3-4

It’s easy to imagine dreaming and to look ahead of what is to come, but along the journey, there is one essential we need – perseverance.  To persevere means to continue and move forward amidst obstacles. Along the journey, we carry with us burdens of discouragements, we unload bags we no longer needed and re-load our selves with courage to move on. Along the way, people challenge us to trach us a lesson and there are those to cheer us up in our times of dehydration. And when we look back, persevering refines our character, builds our character, and renews our mindset on what is up ahead of us, enabling us to remain hopeful.

Dreams do come true, and make it a reality with perseverance. Dreaming is now, the path towards it is now, and while we look forward to it, may we notice the little things and progress that we are experiencing because we have dreams. And these little things are in fact, making the journey more fulfilling whatever the outcome maybe that we leave in the hands of God. In the end, God is most glorified in our perseverance.
