From Being Broken, Rise Again Into Beauty

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. ISAIAH 43:2
Our life here on Earth is not exempted to the weight of the world. We brace ourselves with challenges and temptations to face every day because of a fallen world, but those whose hopes and trust the Lord live differently. We hold a promise that the Lord will be with us in a all seasons of our lives. The Lord opened the seas when the Israelites crossed, lead them amidst overwhelming waters. The Lord did not allow Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to be consumed by fire, ultimately to remind us of His greatness, that He is beyond human strength and thoughts.
Relating to our rivers and moments of fire, we may feel defeated, succumb to hopelessness and be slaves to despair. But as we look at His promises and greatness, the Lord invites us to let Him be our strength, to pick up ourselves once more, to pick up the pieces from where we are from, as we remember the victory of Jesus Christ that sets us free an can set us free over and all over again, whose power is finite and unshakeable. All of this points to God, as a good Father, longs all of us His children to come home to Him, to find refuge in Him and live freely with Him through Jesus Christ. Now, amidst all the roars, the one who believes and trust our Lord can get up and be joyful, albeit the storms, representing how from being broken, we can rise up into beauty.
